I am delighted to introduce my Eco Elephant Photo Experience Chiang Mai package. We work together with The Chai Lai Orchid*, a nature retreat nestled in the mountains close to Chiang Mai. The retreat offers beautiful settings both on the river and in the surrounding forest for me to capture high quality professional photos of your unique experience and, you can be happy in the knowledge that the elephants are treated with love and care.
The Eco Elephant Photo Experience Chiang Mai package includes 10am pickup from your hotel and will include a visit and photos at one of the beautiful temples along the way. Usually we arrive at The Chai Lai Orchid between noon and 12.30pm where we enjoy a sumptuous feast of local food whilst overlooking the river in an idyllic setting before preparing for the shoot.
Once you are ready and have been introduced to your elephant you can choose to walk, or to ride on the elephants back through the forest whilst I maneuver myself to capture photographs that will be treasured forever. Please note that this is a bareback ride and the elephants are more than capable of carrying you and are not mistreated in anyway. There will always be a mahout on hand to guide the elephant and this is done by touch and voice commands. The elephants suffer no ill treatment. This is very important to us.
The trail finishes at the river and this is always my favourite part as you can see the joy in the elephant’s expression as you play with them in the water.
By using the natural light combined with my professional lighting equipment I will create photographs that will amaze you, your friends and your family.
