An experiment in capturing movement in dance

As a photographer I have always been fascinated about capturing movement in my images. Working with the available light in the dance studio I was delighted to be invited to the rehearsals of the Royal Academy of Dance Christmas production, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
I was very impressed by the young dancers skills and strength. As you can see in some of these photos, some of the girls could leap so high! Quite remarkable that the Royal Academy of Dance has a branch in Chiang Mai but, as Thai girls can be so graceful and slender, this is a great place to be for them.
